Cezanne's Young Italian Woman at a Table is to the left, while Joseph Nollekens' marble Venus -- goddess of love & beauty -- is to the right. The female onlooker has a comedic look to her. The crowds of patrons often assumed poses more artistic in license than those in the sculptures and paintings they admired. Sometimes, I went to the museum more for people-watching than for the art.
