The house on Centinela looks so much better with fine plant life. -Beaucarnea recurvata, the Pony Tail Palm.
It's surprising how many indoor environments lack appropriate plants. They add more vibrance than any art is capable of, and they freshen the air -- which, it turns out, is often far more polluted inside than out, even in smoggy Los Angeles. Plants stem the ill effects from steamy dishwashers and toxic cleaning agents.
