Dancing Cranes Resemble Man

Lilly's Thomas Room is filled with arresting imagery from the Orient. This "immortal riding crane" embodies many human ideals: elegance, empathy, dance... They've even graced the Japanese Yen with their image. The gruiform tribe has something special. It's unfortunate that more birds don't share the anthropomorphic features which keep us from stamping them out.
