Being a notorious frugivore, and an avid Holly Berry consumer, the Cedar Waxwing offers a resounding (bird-oriented) NO as answer. As far as humans are concerned, that's another story. While the seeds pass harmlessly through Bombycilla cedrorum, Mimus polyglottos, Turdus migratorius et al, they would probably linger perniciously in us. This poor fellow was found dead on a sidewalk in the Spring, a short distance from tall power lines. It was probably a high speed impact that was to blame.
