Not only did he pose free of charge, but he also made me a present: a beautiful stained glass window, about 8 x 30", with a clear, round 100 year-old inclusion for historical interest. I left it as a present for the buyer of my house in Santa Monica. I find two details about stained glass disagreeable: such windows let in very little light, and they probably aren't very energy efficient. The latest "superwindows" would seem more environmentally responsible. Series Description: In Jersey City, I found it prohibitively expensive to employ female nude models, but males eagerly volunteered free of charge. One of my models led me to Glastonbury, CT, 2nd Roach Pond, ME, and the Adirondacks of NY.
