Natural treasures deserve special treatment. They should not be turned into SUV parking lots for the benefit of beer-swilling tailgaters.
The traffic wasn't much to complain about in 1997. Lately though, it's almost dangerous for pedestrians to walk the beach. -Of course, many shorebirds, seabirds, and sea turtles are displaced and killed by this new onslaught.
